On warmer days a health concern facing hunters can be Heat Exhaustion. The excitement of the hunt, the greater physical effort and the possibility of becoming dehydrated can lead a hunter to become over heated. This is a dangerous condition and must be addressed immediately

## Symptoms of heat exhaustion

- Profuse sweating
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Flushed or reddened skin
- Rapid or fast breathing and heart beat
- Muscle weakness or cramps
- Fatigue

## Treatment of heat exhaustion

- Stop all activity
- Cool down the person as soon as possible
- Hydrate with cool water or Gatorade
- Get medical attention if the condition doesn't improve within an hour
