Remembering your hunt

Often, it is nice to be able to look back and remember your hunting experience through some good photos of camp, animals, hunting companions and the habitat. When taking pictures of your animal, there are some suggestions to keep in mind.

  • Avoid sitting on the animal; create poses which show due respect for the animal.
  • Make sure the animal's tongue is not visible. You want to show respect for the animal and keep your photos tasteful.

Before taking your picture, clean any blood from the animal. Avoid photos that show arrows still in the animal, entry and/or exit wounds. Wash your hands and clean things up.
